About us

Our history
“Aluminum Heat Pipes” Kiev Research & Technological Centre was created in 1986 on the base of Heat Pipes Laboratory.
This Laboratory has its cradle from the Heat Power Engineering Department of National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute” since 1972.
Scientific and technological base for efficient designing and fabrication of advanced heat transferring devices –Heat Pipes (HPs) was founded by the personnel of the named Laboratory. There more than 1 000 HPs modifications were developed and applied in the various branches of industry.

HPs' application
- space engineering:
cooling and thermostatic systems of the research equipment within international projects of space investigations ("VEGA". "FOBOS", “AMPOS-CM-KF”, “MICROSPUTNIK”, “SICH-1M”)
- radio-electronics, instrument-making:
systems providing thermal regimes of radio-electronic, optical and electrical engineering elements and units, lasers, analytical and precise instruments
- machine building, electrical engineering:
systems and devices for cooling of dies, molds, chill moulds, bearings, body and base details of big-sized machine tools, rotors and stators of electrical machines, windings of transformers, powerful lighting units, current leads
- power engineering:
resource saving heat exchange equipment for low-potential waste heat recovery of steam and hot-water boilers, ovens, driers, heat generators, air conditioning & ventilation, etc.
- heat engineering:
thermal equipment and devices for effective hot-water supply, heating of living, service, and production rooms, buildings, and other objects
- production processes:
thermostatic devices for soldering and tinning of various radio-electronic components, assembling and wiring operations in radio- and microelectronics, optics
- medical equipment:
instruments and devices for treatment curing of cavity inflammatory processes; for freezing of tissue parts, etc.
